HCB (Happiness Chaser Badge)

According to your answers, Your Dominant Cognitive Bias is what I call the ‘Happiness Chaser Badge’ – or, in other words – postponing the 'right' moment through hiding behind busyness.

Let me explain… 

First of all, I’m proud of you. You are so responsible and have accomplished many things in your life. 

And I hear you – they are not all making you happy. And the clock doesn’t really help you – there are still only 24 hours in a day…for everybody.

But neither your true self nor happiness is an event that you can schedule for later. 

Don’t fall into the trap that the happiness badge and the freedom to enjoy it should be earned through a busy schedule and hard work. 

And avoid unconsciously hiding the challenging things that really matter to you behind your busyness…

Your true self and your happiness is your being that is happening every moment. The question to ask is whether you are bringing it to the surface now or postponing your happiness for an unforeseen future, which may never come.

Action Step #1

(Recalling)

Right now, recall your yesterday. Look at some of those less enjoyable events during your day. You were forced to be passive, but couldn’t avoid them, anyway…waiting in a checkout line, being stuck in a traffic jam, waiting for an appointment, etc. And answer these 2 questions:

  • What were you filling this time with?
  • How many minutes/hours of that time  you would call as wasted? 

And now, move to Action Step #2 below.

And, please, do this exercise every night for the next 21 days – you will notice that you start finding more and more time for yourself. 


Action Step #2

(Creating)

Think about tomorrow. Identify all the things that would have some wasted time involved e.g., traffic jams.   

Decide now, how are you going to fill it with something you love? 

There are only 2 rules:

1. You haven’t been doing it during the last 12 months.

2. It’s something easy to do (drawing, singing, writing a poem, listening to a podcast on your favorite topic, meditating...you know what appeals to you).

But for now, ask yourself, “What will be the first thing I’ll enjoy tomorrow?”


Action Step #3

(Mindset)

You’ve probably heard something about the power of affirmations. Affirmations are a powerful tool for shifting mindsets and creating a more fulfilling life. Affirmations are one of the tools used to rebuild your belief system that has a great impact and what you think, what you feel, how you act, and what your results are. 

I’ve carefully selected an affirmation right for you: 

I’m the creator of time for my own happiness.

Please, starting tomorrow, write it down 21 times every day for the next 21 days.  

It will take you 15 minutes (if necessary, just get out of bed 15 minutes earlier… J ), but I know you have the power within you to invest 40 minutes daily into building your happiness.

However, most of these searches have been in a spontaneous and chaotic flow from Camino de Santiago to digital marketing, from sky diving to e-commerce, from wine tasting courses to ayahuasca ceremonies, from Vedic astrology to mountain climbing, from intermittent fasting to Red Bull competition, etc. These experiences were vivid and impactful, each leaving its own positive footprint, but they did not provide any long-lasting fulfillment. 

Through a deep and continuous immersion in both scientific discoveries and esoteric practices, I've found the way to a conscious, balanced, and fulfilling life. A life where each of us, to a great extent, can be in control and have access to unlimited resources for our conscious improvement.

Based on this knowledge and experience, I've created the Conscious Life Experience Platform through which I teach, motivate, and inspire people around the globe to become the creators of their conscious, balanced, and fulfilling life.
